Los Angeles
What role do you typically play on set?
1st Assistant Camera
How long have you been working in the film industry? Where did you get your start?
Six years! That number still amazes me. I feel like events all throughout my life were slowly leading me towards the film industry.
What are some of the biggest challenges you've encountered and how have you overcome them?
Encountering different personalities on set and learning how to deal with uncomfortable situations.
Who is your biggest inspiration? What have they taught you?
My biggest inspiration is my dad, he taught me through past jobs and experiences the work ethic that fuels my passion for focus pulling. It keeps me efficient, professional, and safe on set.
What does it mean to you to be an inspiration/mentor to someone else?
It means the world to me. I want to be the mentor that I never had. I'm thankful for all of the ACs I reached out to that ignored me when I first started out. It caused me to appreciate and make room and time for teaching others.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I draw inspiration from films of course! To be a part of making impactful films is the goal but also the community you build around yourself is just as important. The people around me inspire me to continue to build up a friendly and helpful AC community. I run a discord group chat called AC Friends that started with 8 people and now were at 85 members!
If you had one message to share with the world, what would it be?
If you see someone who needs help and you have the means to do so, do so.

In 5 years I would love to be happily working in the union with friends by my side.
If you had one piece of advice for a woman who wants to get started in the film industry what it would be?
Keep going even when you want to quit. You will want to quit.
What does being a part of The Women in Film Project mean to you?
To be a part of something like WIFP means so much to me, to be in the position to hopefully inspire others is such a blessing. It really puts my career into perspective and all of the hard work leading up to this point.
